WHO WE ARE
Kyle Concannon, MD
Kyle is a board certified medical oncologist and physician-scientist who trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Having grown up in a rural low income home that encountered many health crises, he is dedicated to advancing cancer medicine together with those affected by it. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his cats Pippin and Minket, his dog Alice, and his beautiful and intelligent wife Abbie, who helps him with website design.


Samantha Murrell
Samantha is was diagnosed in early 2024 with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer driven by a mutation in the HER2. She is now a dedicated advocate when she is not spending her time hiking or with her husband and German Shepherd Opie.
Ashley Holt
Ashley was diagnosed at 38 with Stage I non-small cell lung cancer driven by a ROS 1 mutation. She has 2 little boys and an energetic Springer Spaniel. She loves to hike, try new foods, and raise awareness about the growing number of younger woman diagnosed with lung cancer despite never smoking.


J.J. Singleton
JJ was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer in September 2015 at just 27 years old. While still undergoing active treatment, he found his voice in advocacy, focusing on amplifying the patient voice and lived experience—especially for men and those in rural communities. Beyond his advocacy work, JJ enjoys sports and Star Wars.
